Old Work:
Busking Project.

This ongoing project involves the production of a compilation CD of buskers’ performances recorded at underground stations and subways around London. In exchange for £5 buskers agree to perform, their favourite song or composition, their most profitable song or composition and their least profitable song or composition. The compilation will consist of performances by 10 buskers. No one will directly profit financially from the compilation.

The compilation will only be distributed via a non-monetary exchange i.e. for an individual to obtain a copy of the buskers’ compilation it will be necessary for the individual to exchange a record from their own collection to obtain the compilation - a CD for a CD.

The compilation was completed in 2003, but is yet to be manufactured as a CD and distributed (contact me if you are interested in getting involved). For now the work exists online on this site in mp3 format.
